The Suspension Secrets BMW E46 M3 Adjustable Front Drop links / End Links are an excellent upgrade particularly for track-focused E46 M3s, where their added adjustability can really help you apply an excellent suspension setup.
Suspension Secrets have made the choice to use high quality materials when designing their in-house products. The bodies of our E46 M3 drop links are made from aircraft-grade billet aluminium which is very strong and incredibly light, making it ideal for a high performance applications.
Reliability is also key with the products, and is what has drove them to make their securing nuts, adjuster and rose joints from stainless steel. Stainless steel is strong and corrosion resistant, enabling the products to survive the punishment of track work, whilst also being reliable enough to perform years after installation.
The drop links have also been carefully designed to allow you to access them easily whilst not having to remove the wheels. The drop links can also be easily secured with a 17mm spanner instead of having to use bespoke BMW tools.
The drop links also have an easily accessible adjuster which makes setup changes very easy and quick to do.
Why install Suspension Secrets Adjustable Front Drop links / End Links?
Adjustable drop links are a good upgrade for your BMW particularly if it has been lowered via lowering spring or coilovers. Their adjustability makes them very useful when creating bespoke setups.
After lowering a car, the anti-roll bar is pulled upwards to the chassis as the location of the drop links that connect the anti-roll bar to the suspension hub change. As a result, the anti-roll bar can end up colliding with the vehicle’s chassis or suspension components. Our adjustable drop links allow you to return the anti-roll bar back to its original position.
Another benefit of adjustable drop links is when corner weighting your BMW. Installed aftermarket coilovers need to be corner weighted and aligned to make the best use of them, however this is not an easy process. When corner weighting, the ride heights of each of the four wheels will differ slightly. This unevenness in ride height creates tension across the roll bar which makes the car’s handling between left and right corners very unintuitive.
Adjustable drop links allow you to fine tune the positioning of the anti-roll bar as to eliminate the present tension. This will restore the car’s handling balance and will allow the anti-roll bar to fulfil its purpose.
