In a corner, the lateral load transfer through the body causes the vehicle to roll. When the car encounters roll, it raises the inside contact patch of the outside wheel. This reduces overall grip. But at the same time, the outside wheels are more heavily loaded due to the weight transferring onto them. This weight transfer will cause a wheel with negative camber to have essentially neutral camber as the full contact patch is used as the car rolls.

Negative camber gives far more grip, allowing for much higher cornering speeds, and it also helps reduce tyre wear by distributing cornering forces far more evenly across the contact patch of the tyres. This means you can get more trackdays between tyre changes.

Negative camber also helps to greatly reduce understeer.

Their CNC-machined billet aluminium Front Camber Blocks fit seamlessly into your 992’s existing suspension assembly where they offer up to 3.6 degrees of negative camber, which is far more than the standard Porsche components.

Porsche 992 GT3 Rear Camber Shims Kit

The Rear Camber Shims Kit is comprised of 12 shims or varying thicknesses. These shims give a large enough range of adjustment for road or track setups. The stainless steel shims are designed to be fit and forget. They slot easily between the lower suspension wishbone and the 992’s chassis, where they add essential negative camber to the back axle.

Negative camber on the rear axle helps you exit corners far more aggressively whilst also helping to reduce rear tyre wear.
