Description
What makes Suspension Secrets BMW E92 M3 Adjustable Rear Toe Arms Unique?
Suspension Secrets rear toe arms are CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, which is incredibly strong and very light. This material is ideal for load bearing applications, such as this.
The componentry, which includes adjuster nuts, securing nuts and rose joints, are all made from stainless steel.
The rose joint bearings are also made from stainless steel, and the steel balls are coated in a low friction PTFE liner, which offers consistent and precise movement over the item’s lifespan.
They have also designed their rear toe arms with an easy-to-access adjuster to enable quick setup changes. The adjuster can be accessed from within the arch, whilst the wheel is still on.
The adjuster and retaining nuts only require a 17mm spanner to adjust them into their desired positions.
Why would I want to install Suspension Secrets BMW E92 M3 Adjustable Rear Toe Arms?
Toe arms are an essential upgrade if you have lowered your car with either lowering springs or coilovers.
When lowered, the bump steer arc produced by the rear axle leads to the rear wheels being toed out.
When your car has been lowered, the standard adjustment offered by the factory BMW suspension is insufficient to reachieve optimum toe settings.
Rear toe arms now allow you to regain optimum rear axle geometry, by adjusting them to suit the application.
Another benefit of rear toe arms is that they replace a BMW part that has a rubber bushing with a solid unit. This solid link attaches to the back axle and prevents toe change under rear axle load. This is most noticeable when applying the throttle on the way out of a corner.
