What makes Suspension Secrets BMW E92 M3 Adjustable Front Drop Links / End Links unique?

When designing components Suspension Secrets work to ensure they are made from the highest quality components. This decision is made to ensure strength and longevity, and to make sure our products fulfil their purpose in high stress environments.

The bodies of the adjustable drop links are machined from aircraft grade billet aluminium. This aluminium is very strong and very light, making it ideal for this usage. In the interest of longevity, they have chosen to make the retaining nuts, adjuster nut and motorsport-spec fluro rose joints from stainless steel. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and ensures that their products can perform to their maximum capacity.

The drop links are accessible from within the front wheelarch, and do not require the removal of the vehicle’s wheels in order to access them. The drop links and adjuster nut can also be secured using a 17mm spanner, instead of any specialised BMW tools, which makes alterations far easier to carry out.

Why would I want to install Suspension Secrets BMW E92 M3 Adjustable Front Drop Links / End Links?

Drop links are an important upgrade for fine-tuning the geometry of your BMW’s supension. If your BMW has been lowered on either lowering springs or coilovers, the position of the standard drop links that connect the anti-roll bar to wheel hub assembly changes. As a result of this change, the anit-roll bar is pulled upwards into the chassis, where it can end up colliding with suspension components and the chassis of the car.

Adjustable drop links enable you to reset the position of the anti-roll bar in order to extract its maximum performance.

Another useful feature of adjustable front drop links is when corner weighting your BMW. During corner weighting, the ride heights of each of the four wheels will be slightly different. This difference in height creates a ‘tension’ in the anti-roll bar, which in turn makes handling very different between left and right hand corners.

Adjustable drop links allow you to fine tune the end positions of the anti-roll bar which removes the ‘tension’ from the bar and restores the proper handling you’d expect from your car. You will also benefit greatly from the corner weighting alignment.
